Holy Spirit is the third person of the Triune God - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are not three Gods, but they are three in One. Their roles as seen in the Bible are different from each other. They all work for common goal. Inasmuch as the Holy Spirit is the living person, we do not refer Him as it , but we refer Holy Spirit as Him .
