Satan’s Legions A coming-of-age adventure and a gay love story in three volumes. Book 1: Love Swanford is a small market town in the heart of England. It has a new resident: Robert Crittenden, from Oklahoma, the USA. He has moved to England with his devoutly religious family and will start the spring term at the local community school. There he meets Jack Moseley, an ordinary English boy from a close family. Soon their lives, and the lives of their friends and families, are spiralling out of control, as they discover untapped emotions within themselves and uncover the sinister machinations of powerful people within the town and even within Robert’s own family. While Robert finds himself questioning everything he has taken for granted for the past sixteen years, Britain becomes embroiled in the political turmoil of a general election. It seems the country wants change. New parties and new faces come to the fore, and a campaign of prejudice and hatred is unleashed that threatens to reverse all the social progress that has taken place over the past fifty years and usher in a radical social conservatism based on Biblical truth. But in Swanford this campaign has an even darker underbelly - as Robert, Jack and their friends will find out. Soon they must face moral dilemmas and brave physical dangers that would tax even the stoutest heart. Adventure, survival, life and death are all there in an explosive mixture as the world turns and the boys are accused of being part of Satan’s Legions!
