Her class won first place from the NASA Student Involvement Program for their project My Planet Earth-The Chihuahuan Desert.
Riparian Sunrise , a photograph from the book, received an honorable mention award from the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science 2014 NatureScapes Photo Salon.
