An epic historical novel that completes a trilogy, set in Southern Africa. The Lion and the Leopard is set during the Great 1914-18 War when the Germans invaded Nyasaland, Northern Rhodesia and Portuguese East Africa. The Russell family (from The Settler ) and the Spaight family (from Lake of Slaves ) are drawn into the conflict. Their loves and tragedies take place within the long and bitter campaign.
