Muslim women live in a variety of geographical locations, influenced by underlying cultural distinctives that have been overlain by Islam, experiencing great diversity of economic and social conditions. As a result, each Muslim woman lives her own story, experiences Islam in her own way and grapples with the reality of her Islamic faith within her own personal context. While recognising this vibrant diversity, because these women are Muslim believers, they do share a commonality which unites them across the globe.
