This is the story about a famous litttle submarine that sits on the ground at Albacore Park, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and how she got here!Her name is USS Albacore (AGSS 569) and she is a one-of-a-kind submarine!Albacore was the U.S. Navy’s test submarine because her tear-drop shaped hull was revolutionary. She was built at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
