Dr. Mary Paul is in California for a change, purchasing a vineyard and learning all about the art of wine, as well as dressage. Beautiful weather and beautiful people are on hand, and Dr. Paul is not the only one interested in the property. Unknown to Mary, the other bidder has a number of skeletons in his closet, and he’s accompanied by a criminal who has been a thorn in Mary’s side on more than one occasion whose unpredictable actions make him a potentially deadly wild card.
