Mantlo: A Life in Comics showcases the life and career of one of the comic book industry’s most prolific writers of the 1970s and early 1980s. Mantlo penned hundreds of stories and created or co-created dozens of characters including Rocket Raccoon. Tragically, Mantlo’s life was severely compromised following a rollerblading accident in the mid 1980s. He has remained in nursing care since this time. This new edition of Mantlo: A Life in Comics, like its predecessor, is a benefit book with all proceeds being donated toward the costs of Mantlo’s medical expenses.
