Designed to help boost teenage literacy, this guide offers annotated selections of over 10,000 recommended books. Arranged by subject with a subject / grade level index, its aim is to assist collection evaluation, development and reader guidance for the 15-18 age group. Titles were selected from many sources, for example, School Library Journal , Booklist , Voice of Youth Advocates and The Book Report . In most cases two or three favourable reviews were required to qualify for inclusion. Separate author and title indices are included.
