Drama. Routines , first published by New Directions in 1964 and having gone though four printings, is now reissued with the addition of three more of Ferlinghetti’s very short experimental plays: The Customs Collector in Baggy Pants , taken from the discontinued UnfairArguments with Existence, and Fuclock and The Waiting Room , both previously unpublished. These theater pieces explore the territory between old-style drama and the spontaneous improvisation of the happening .
