The news photographer Ralph Ginzburg assigned himself the task of photographing a different news event in New York City on each of 365 consecutive days. The result is this collection of images depicting parades and protests, funerals and weddings, conflagrations, ribbon-cuttings and other events which make up the everyday life of the Big Apple. It is a gallery of showbiz celebrities, politicos, crooks, cops, presidents, elephants, baseball stars, soldiers, stuntmen and divas.
