An abstracted transcription of the Cabell County, West Virginia superior court records during the years 1843 through 1848 can be found in this volume. With the documents being mainly comprised of lists of jury members, these records can be a valuable resource for tracing an individual's whereabouts during this period and can provide useful information to genealogists. To be eligible to participate in the jury, the individual had to be a resident of the county, thus providing evidence of an individual's presence in the area. The author uses a full-name index to conclude this work.
