AUTHOR: Air Commodore Graham Pitchfork MBE, BA, FRAES is the aviation obituaries writer for the Daily Telegraph and Chairman of the Buccaneer Association. He served in the RAF for 36 years as a navigator and was awarded the MBE for his part in introducing the Buccaneer to RAF service in the maritime strike role.
