A young boy and girl live on a beautiful hilly rural farmstead with their parents, grandfather, and two loving pets a dog and (female) kitty. One autumn day their kitty is discovered missing; so the family organizes a search. At the end a long day she is found nestled in love with the neighbor’s kitty. All return home by dark, and as they settle in contentedly grandpa sets in motion plans for the kittens that will arrive before the flowers bloom in spring.
