This is the tale of Pangur Ban, first kitten, first cat since time began.
Pangur Ban will whisk you away to a place where daydreams rest and stars twinkle, a tale of an Irish cat almost as old as time itself. The tale of Mars and his fiery hair, and Mr Moon with his gentle smile, tales of nightly jaunts and how Pangur Ban looks after those asleep in their beds, till finally when dawn breaks his curls up for a much deserved rest.
But enough of that, Pangur Ban beckons - please join him on his nightly adventures with Betty the Bat and Millicent Mouse.
This book is dedicated to all those who love magical creatures and cats !
The author Michael Brawn was raised in England and Africa, by an Irish mother and an English father. Michael’s childhood was filled with many adventures both in Ireland, England and Africa. He was raised with Irish stories by his mother, and this is where Michael first encountered Pangur Ban. Many years later and now a father and grandfather he decided to carry on the tradition of storytelling to children, and put this tale to paper.
Michael has been writing for many years but this is his first children’s book.
