‘bare’ is a collection of free-verse poetry and prose about vulnerability. It dives into the experiences of anxiety, transitions, confidence, re-discovery, and reflection. The book is divided into five chapters: empty, open, exposed, clean, and fresh. Each chapter holds new experiences with new lessons as the author navigates her way through her late teens and early twenties. ‘bare’ takes readers along on a ride of new and lost love, confusion and self-discovery, loneliness and friendship, and finally contentment with oneself. True vulnerability is scary, it is empowering, it is bare.
