Benjamin Tav, the once anonymous shepherd of Hallowed Hills, takes his place as the Sentinel of Issur. Doubted by the professor-king Emmerick, he must convince the crown about his encounters with celestial beings called nephesh. Seeking to solve these mystical riddles, Emmerick gathers together the Council of Nine.
