JL Spratlin wrote this story, along with several other stories in the series, during a magical time while her two children were young. Her stories started out as bedtime and snuggle time ramblings that the three of them shared with excitement, laughter, and love. The stories have made their way to written word as a memento of their childhood for her kids and herself. In her spare time, she works as a physician and though she likes that job very much, her most favorite thing in the world is to spend time laughing with and loving her family which has now grown to include two more little people and a wonderful man who is like a fifth child! She loves them all more than they will ever know. They live happily ever after across the street from the hidden forest trail in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
