Justice and Foreign Policy
Michael Blake (Professor of Philosophy and Public Affairs, University of Washington)
The book is an argument about the moral foundations of foreign policy. It argues that the traditional idea of liberal equality can be interpreted so as to give moral guidance to policy leaders in understanding what they ought to seek internationally. It engages with such ideas as toleration, respect for diversity, and global inequality. It is intended to give guidance to those who make foreign policy, but also to those of us who want to understand and critique the policy such leaders have made.
