This text presents (mainly in chronological order) the high- lights of German cultural achievement. It is written in realistic German at a medium level of difficulty, and contains a vocabulary section that provides a translation of technical terms and more difficult words. The text can be used during the second half of the second year or, thereafter, on the college level or on the equivalent level in high school.
