Last week’s children’s and YA bestseller list is dominated by some of our favourite illustrators: Shaun Tan, Judy Horacek, Anna Walker, Aaron Blabey and Oliver Jeffers.
The brilliant creators of pre-schooler favourite Where Is The Green Sheep? (Mem Fox and Judy Horacek) are back with another deceptively simple story and take our top spot this week with This and That. Alison Lester’s My Dog Bigsy and Jane Godwin and Anna Walker’s What Do You Wish For? will also be under a lot of Christmas trees this year.
Aaron Blabey’s The Bad Guys: Episode 1, which came out in July, ticks all the boxes when it comes to encouraging and entertaining new readers, so it’s no surprise to see Episode 2: Mission Unpluckable up there. Here’s our review of the first book, if you’re new to this fantastic Australian series.
