Starduster was a star. It was the first one created by God. At first, it was alone. It wondered about its purpose and role in God's plan to fill the universe with light and warmth. God continually assured Starduster that it would later understand, even though the star couldn't see what was in its future. At one point, Starduster gives of itself in God's plan to make billions of stars and planets, and more specifically how it led to the creation of the earth and life on it. Starduster's legacy lives on in the guiding light illuminated by the Bethlehem Star. This story was inspired by a letter Kevin wrote to his granddaughter.
