The year is 2020 and the world is engulfed in a pandemic. Annie is a psychologist who just started a long-distance relationship with Daniel, a charismatic Argentinian. When she is diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor, she faces a stark choice: take a treatment that could destroy her mind, or do nothing and die in a year. Braving the risks of COVID, Daniel visits Annie to comfort her in what turns out to be the most passionate weekend of their budding relationship. He convinces her to go to a treatment center in the Hill of Seven Colors that uses a controversial treatment based on nutrition. To be closer to Daniel and hope, Annie gambles her future and travels to a faraway land.
