Azalea Jinx, a twenty-two-year-old widow, will do anything to feel something. The problem isn't that she can't feel anything at all, but, rather, the only emotions left are ones that she doesn't want controlling her; emotions like anger, jealousy, and boredom.

After an abrupt move to Orlando, Florida, in search of a fresh start, Azalea is given one in the form of an abduction by the handsome man in her mirror. This man offers Azalea the chance of a lifetime: the chance to regain her emotions.
