Jazzy introduces each shape. She sits on a shape and tells what it is. The next page has a picture of Jazzy with all kinds of everyday items with that shape. Children are asked to count, identify, or find the shapes.

Basic shapes and some three-dimensional shapes are included: Circle, square, triangle, rectangle, heart, diamond, sphere, cube, cone, and cylinder.

The rhyming text is easy to read and the illustrations are based on real photographs taken by the author.
