Finding My Life Through The Children's Home
Orphan: a child deprived by the death of one or usually both parents.
Janet L. Mancini was left an orphan after her biological mother, Mary Margaret Morris-Lener, died in 1957. Her father left; he did not want the responsibility of taking care of her or her younger siblings. But it was through Mancini's mother's love and choice that she placed me in The Children's Home.
In 2002, Mancini decided to start her search for The Children's Home. She would never have imagined how her life came full circle. She not only found The Children's Home, but her biological family also.
This story is not only Mancini's story, but all the children that graced the doors of the home. They were placed there for various reasons, but it brought them together as a family.
