Lucy Campbell lives a normal suburban with her husband George, and three sons. She is intrigued by the homeless, and does volunteer work with a local shelter. While doing so, she encounters issues with the homeless and crimes, discovering that there is murder taking place, some of which ends up to be the act of a lone female serial killer. She then works with both the local authorities as well as homeless individuals themselves to solve who is behind these murders and why they are happening. It reflects potential real life situations, interactions with family, co-workers, street people, friends, etc. Interjecting real life experiences in a way that many people can relate to.
