Wherever the Road…

Sometimes, we have to get lost to find ourselves. After the death of a loved one, the grief can seem overwhelming. Life feels like a constant state of ups and downs, and it's hard to know what may activate the sorrow. The grief doesn't go away, it just gets softer and smaller until you learn to live with it. After her partner died in 2020, Becky Gibler finally felt a sense of peace in December 2021, but as another new year came around, the intense pain of her loss surfaced again. With no destination in mind, she felt compelled to get in her car and drive. A month-long journey turned into two, with many twists and turns along the way.
