Dark Storms of Apostasy

Look around you. It is getting dark out there. It is dark with demonic storms. The narratives of the world are dark. It is even dark in churches as apostasy is rife. Lawlessness abounds, and so do violence and wickedness. In a time of so much deception and hostility towards the Gospel, will you remain standing for Jesus? There is a wildfire of apostasy tearing through the church, fuelled by idolatry. It is because of the winds of false doctrine that this wildfire keeps spreading, and it has been causing massive damage for hundreds of years to the church. Yet the fire is not being checked, addressed, or effectively extinguished by believers. Yes, there is a profane fire burning on the altars build on the spiritual high places. An increasing level of idolatry and spiritual apostasy plagues the world and the church. The fire of idolatry has swept through churches for a long time, consuming and destroying. It is the profane fire. An unholy fire. Who shall contain the fire? It is time for the church to earnestly address apostasy in her midst, for it is a raging storm that destroys and consumes. Our God is a jealous God, and He is an all-consuming fire. He must be our First Love, nothing else, and certainly no one else, including the self. We must seek Him, His truth, His way and His will in a time of so much deception, confusion, chaos and wickedness.
