The Civil War was over, but unrest prevailed throughout much of the South. Families were split, family members lost, towns and plantations destroyed, with ex-slaves trying to find acceptance in white communities. However, hatred and bias permeated much of the white population, not only from the war but inbred prejudice, because of the Negro's color. Many, both black and white, moved west seeking a new chance, and in the case of ex-slaves, a first chance, to begin life anew.
Brothers Two blends the hopes and aspirations of both black and white, in with the heroism shown by men and women during this turbulent period of our history, into a compelling story of love and hope.
Jeremiah Barlow goes to Taxes to help Brother Ezra stop a man from taking over the small town of Springwater, Texas and surrounding territory. Jeremiah wants to go to California after helping Ezra defeat Blaine Foster, but Laura Waller, the beautiful daughter of a rancher killed when foster's men tried to rustle his cattle, has other ideas.
