The Scorned

Paul's mistress calls him on the phone and insists that he get a divorce and marry her. She demands to see him and threatens to tell his wife if he doesn't finalize things soon. His wife is having an affair of her own but if he leaves her he will not get a penny of her fortune. Trapped with no way out, Paul sees only one solution..Murder....There is a man in the rural town of Jonesburg, burned from head to toe. He is seldom seen among the residents but when two of the local pastors are murdered back to back, the mysterious "burned man" becomes the primary suspect. Pastor Evan Givens and his wife arrive into town, inheriting the church and home from the murdered preacher. While doing some rummaging around the church, Givens finds a box of letters which detail the strange goings on in the town from years ago; tales of demon possession and cult sacrifices. Can the new pastor figure out who the burning man is before he becomes his next victim?
