A modern day soothsayer changes the fate of a young and confused Black accountant. Jeff Townsend is a successful Black accountant: one of the few in his town. Humble, educated and efficient in his work, he soon becomes bored with the day-to-day of counting funds and often daydreams of an exciting more adventurous way of life. He turns to an elderly Black soothsayer to help him out of his dilemma, only to find that she is way ahead of him and steers him to incredible adventures he could have not forseen!
