Gatu is ordered to track and find the original tracker, so he must join Romulas on a journey to a land that has been closed off from the Nether, a place called the Wild Nether. It is dangerous and unknown, and Gatu finds himself caught in a world of scandals, lies, and deception. Dangerous beasts roam the land, complicating the mission. To make matters worse, the leader of the universe (Xavia) has appointed gatu a new guardian. Sapphire is a strange soul, and gatu finds it difficult to trust him.
