A picture book of the classics for youth series: Li qingzhao: a hero poet. This volume introduces Li qingzhao (10841151), the Song dynasty poet was famously recognized as one of the best poets in Chinese history who happened to be a woman. The book begins with a historical background of the poet, followed by some of her most recited poems, and follow by the editor’s note. The series plans for 100 Chinese classics in eight different subjects, each book will have a picture book edition, with BoPoMoFo phonetics, for younger readers, and a reader edition for youth.
