Ausbildung und Lehre mit den modernen Informations- und Kommuikationstechnologien unabhangig von Zeit und Ort angeboten werden koennen. Durch die Liberalisierung des internationalen Bildungsmarktes stehen alle Akteure vor neuen Regulierungsaufgaben und parallel zur Internationalisierung vollzieht sich der sog. ‘Bologna-Prozess’, der die Schaffung eines einheitlichen europaischen Bildungsraumes zum Ziel hat. Die Herausforderungen fur den LernOrt Universitat werden vor diesem Hintergrund reflektiert.
