This book presents the conclusions of the ESPRIT project 6310, Multimedia Toolbox for Cooperative Applications (MMTCA). The objective of the MMTCA project was to design and build a toolbox for the development of cooperative applications with special attention to the requirements of multimedia applications. Revolutionary software was developed to add to PC’s, using the standard Windows operating system without changes to the applications. If you assign or work on cooperative tasks and use a desktop PC with Windows software then this book will tell you how to use your existing applications for What You See Is What I See (WYSIWIS) cooperation, coupled with workflow management for asynchronous working.
