Dans l'Atelier Neoclassique: Ecrire l'Italie, de Chateaubriand a Stendhal

This study considers representations of Italy in French works of the early nineteenth century. This body of writing gives rise to an original, modern, and paradoxical approach to neoclassicism which helps shape the patrimonial awareness of this era in search of identity.
