Tim the shark is born in the Atlantic Ocean. He loves exploring the waters with his brother and sister. One day his curiosity gets the best of him. Tim spies something new in the water and he gets caught on a hook.

Fishermen cut off all of his fins except one and use them to make soup. Tim is sad that he only has one fin and that the other sharks make fun of him. He wants to retaliate, but then he remembers some of the lessons he learned in Sunday school.

A story of forgiveness, this picture book for children shares the tale of Tim and how he does the right thing even though it hurts. It tells how the one-finned shark knows peace through his love toward others and lives a happy life.
