Quality assurance serves to verify that as- built units conform to their requirements.

When requirements are clear, concise and valid, conforming results are the norm.

If not clear, concise and valid, verifying that the results conform is impossible.

CMII serves to accommodate change and keep requirements clear, concise and valid.
