Stanley is a charming glimpse into the life of a family who rescues animals. Children will fall in love with Stanley the Sparrow as he shares in the household routine. As a kindergarten teacher, I could see this book being so useful for sharing the message that animals join our lives for a time, but not forever and we can cherish the great memories they leave with us.
