Mated to the Earth Alpha

I wasn't expecting to find a hibernating god while I was helping lead an expedition through the jungles, in search of ancient ruins. I sure wasn't expecting him to cite me as his fated mate. And yet, that's the position I'm in. The fated mate to Oto, the Earth Alpha. There's just one problem. Scratch that, there are a lot of problems, from vicious animals to angry bosses. But the biggest one is the fact that Oto can't live in the human city, and I can't work from the jungles. That means I can only have one of them, right? My career, or my fated mate. But... I don't want to choose between them. If there's any way around it, I'll find it. Somehow.
