What do you do when a career in family history turns your life into a mystery? At last Caity Shaw is engaged to her Irish love, Declan. However, rather than planning their future together, she is stuck organizing other couples' weddings and special events at her uncle's English estate. Desperate to escape the manor's media frenzy due to the home's recent appearance on a popular TV show, Caity quits despite her sister Rachel's objection. To everyone's surprise, including her own, Caity hires her former coworker and archenemy as her replacement.

Shortly after returning home to Declan in Ireland's tranquil countryside, Caity lands a job assisting a renowned probate genealogist, a.k.a. heir hunter. Her first task is to deliver a family heirloom to a beneficiary in Scotland. What seems like a simple courier job soon has Caity involved in an intriguing family mystery.
