Intro:
Tears run down my face, but there is no one to wipe them away. The fear with a combination of sadness sweeps over me. Nowhere to turn- nowhere to run and hide. Afraid to face my choices from the eyes of a young child. Forced to be older to soon, but there was nothing I could do. So, I stay in the shadows while hurting in silence.

Lynita Regis has an AA in Criminal Justice and is currently studying Human Services at the University of Phoenix. She works as an artist and photographer at her business, Creations By Regis. Lynita resides in Washington state with her sister and fiance .
