The South Forest shouldn't snow, but the weather in Shelha's second-least populous region isn't the only thing acting strangely. Sethral had thought that the return of an ex-tyrant would signal an end to the monotonous, extending winters and languid days. She is beginning to regret her wishes.

Winter the Mountainair has made a permanent home in the south, giving up her migratory ways and showing a fresh interest in a way of life she abandoned years ago. The specific reason is a mystery, but then again, she is a mystery in general.
