The Light in the Darkness is a narrative that chronicles the ongoing conflict between light and darkness. The main character of this novel is a man named Jake, who is selected by God himself to be what is known as the Trance, a human who has been given the attributes and capabilities of an angel. In the course of the narrative, Jake will come into contact with a wide variety of creatures as he is prepared to succeed the current Trance and continue to spread the power and grace of God.
