The Weeping Wombat: The Nocturnals

In The Weeping Wombat, the eighth book in the new early reader Grow & Read series from Fabled Films Press, the Nocturnal Brigade hears Walter the wombat whimpering in the willow. Walter tells the Brigade that the other wombats make fun of him. They say he is a wimp because he weeps.

Say what? Bismark exclaims. Weeping doesn’t mean you’re a wimp! Dawn and Tobin agree.

They tell Walter that weeping is just another way of expressing emotion. And that like a good laugh, a good weep can feel great.
