This is a collection of papers on museum practices in Taiwan today. The book aims to illustrate how Taiwanese museum professionals adapt museum theories to daily action, and their constant reflection on the significance of museum, as well as responding to contemporary issues regarding collections management, public service, governance, technological advancement, commercialism and globalization. It is hoped that concepts and practices covered could bring about more discussions in the professional field and facilitate cross-cultural exchange of ideas.
