Mike Ferguson was born in Liverpool, England but now calls Sydney home. After a career in IT and a busy family life raising his four sons, he became a teacher. Whilst teaching at Roseville Primary School, Mike decided to write a children’s book but waited for inspiration. When a bag of toy wombats arrived at the school, something clicked, and Wombatman was born. When writing the first Wombatman book, Mike found the most fun in creating the characters. He is pleased that these characters are now enjoying further adventures and he hopes to continue developing them together with new storylines in the future.
