PrisonDoc tales- an Israeli Md in Italian prisons, life before and after the tragedy of Motarone

The book has been written in due different periods and tells the stories of two different periods, even

though there were not far apart. Most of the book is dedicated to my stories from my work as an MD in the Italian

correctional institutes. Tells of an Israeli female doctor who worked for 8 years in that system. These are

short/medium long scripsts/stories that describe "special" events in prison routine: How does the night of

the December 31 th look and feel like? How dose an Israeli female MD get to work in such a strange

environment? How does she survive this work, especially when about a third of the inmates are North-

African Muslims?. This first part of the meeting points with it. And the book takes us also to these

meeting points, including the comeback of heroin usage, the story of the Bosco of Rogredo, and social

networks addictions. the second part of the book, just a few chapters, tells my personal and family story about life after the tragedy of Mottarone, were I lost my 30 years old brother and most of his family.
