Gene Hunter is a child genius, born to a poor family before the 2nd World War. He is educated in a State sponsored Academy, where he is groomed by his intelligence Guardian Angel to head a secret Government Department dealing with threats to the State. A loner, he is a walking automaton, until a new recruit enters his life and helps him function in must be protected from ‘the system’ to prevent her neither of them foresaw; could this be their downfall?
